Welcome to the ING New York Marathon 2009! I am one of the people who have taken up the challenge to run the New York Marathon this year in support of the Heart Foundation. Heart Disease is the number one killer in our modern world and like a lot of people my family and I have been affected by this disease. My Dad has suffered two massive (but fortunately not fatal) heart attacks and his father died of a massive heart attack before the age of 60. Everyday my family and I are grateful for the treatment and education of all those people (including my Dad) living with, and dying from heart disease. Funds raised by me will help the Heart Foundation fund life saving research and prevention programs to combat this terrible disease. I am very grateful for your donation.
